Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I am an asexual twenty-something known in the asexual community as the Gray Lady. I usually am much more active on my public blog than here, but I have this one mainly so that I can post things that I don't want to post publicly. Sometimes I post poetry or other writings that I am working on so that I can get some feedback from other asexuals without the worry that my work will be plagiarized.
Other than that, I am interested in foreign languages and linguistics in general. I have been studying Japanese (off and on) for about a decade now and am very familiar with Japanese culture by now. In particular I enjoy J-rock and gothic lolita fashion. (I do not like anime, however, and it's really, really annoying when people assume that I do just because I like gothic lolita or whatever. So please don't.) I am an avid fan of House, and spend a lot of my time lately watching Star Trek.
I am very introverted (INTJ type), and don't usually get (or stay) involved in communities unless I can kinda hang back and do my own thing, and let the community come to me. Consequently, I post infrequently on LJ and stay off of forums. Online communities for the most part don't keep my interest, or at least not anymore. I have kinda mellowed out I guess, and tend to spend more time offline than on it. So keep that in mind, but if you want to read my entries anyway, please comment to be added to my friends list. :)
